How To Cheat On a Test with a T-Shirt

Filed under: blog — james @ 9:35 pm

Last night TDAR convened a special Sunday session to continue work on our “academic integrity” project for a local high school. Although we all seemed to feel pretty sorry for students who turn to cheating, we’ve nevertheless been talking about it almost as some kind of art practice. TDAR friend/hypertext shaman John Muse suggested we youtube “how to cheat on a test” to get the lay of the land.

Would be great to have some students come up with a few of their own horrible/wonderful youtubular ways to cheat…but how to do this in a way that destabilizes or questions the act of cheating without degenerating into total parody (ok maybe i do like total parody, though)?
